The Bartimaeus Cohousing Community at Meadow Wood is by no means limited to those who can afford to participate in the capital building of the project. Some of the homes are available for rent, in accordance with our bylaws and the condominium laws of Washington State.
Meadow Wood Renter Members participate along with Owner Members in all consensus decisions involving community activities, except for those involving major capital outlays for improving or maintaining the facilities. The Common House, workshop, gardens, nature trails, and participation in meals and other events are completely open to renters.
Rental units are owned by individual Meadow Wood owners, who work out lease agreements with potential renters on a case-by-case basis.
Currently all rental units are occupied. The Homeowners Association keeps a waiting list of parties interested in renting when rooms or units become available. For more information, contact us at
