Shepherd’s is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that owns and maintains one of the condos at Meadow Wood. This transitional housing is offered at a very low rent — for about a year — to help get a family back on their feet financially. Occupants take a short, enjoyable course on creating a spending plan, and are encouraged to take part in community activities. We currently have our fourth family in residence. This housing is voluntarily subsidized by some members of the Bartimaeus community, who make a tax-deductible contribution to offer this opportunity for a family in need.
